Newbury Corn Exchange's Festival of Light draws crowds with lantern procession

This evening (Sunday), the Festival of Light - organised by the Corn Exchange - drew large crowds onto the streets of Newbury, kicking off with a lantern procession.

Participants in the parade moved down Northbrook Street, bearing lanterns they had built themselves.

The festivities culminated in Market Place, outside the Corn Exchange itself, where musical entertainment, refreshments and other attractions were made available.
