Large flood from burst water main closes A4 Bath Road in Southcote, Reading

A burst water main has caused flooding on the A4 Bath Road in Reading.

There is a large flood on Berkeley Avenue in both directions between the A4155 Bath Road and Coley Avenue.

The AA said the road is closed.

It hasn’t said when it will reopen.

Thames Valley Police has closed off the affected roads in the Southcote area.

This includes Coley Avenue, Berkley Avenue, A4 Bath Road and Southcote Lane.

It has asked for people to avoid the area until further notice.
