Late-night shopping and festive choirs in Newbury today

Free parking this evening and the Choir of 1,000 Voices in Market Place

THERE’S free parking, late-night shopping and singing on offer in Newbury today as Christmas draws near.

Activities start at noon with children’s rides, street entertainers and festive market stalls, and even three wise men on camels.

Local choirs will sing around town, before everyone gathers around the Christmas tree in the Market Place for the grand finale: the Choir of 1,000 Voices.

Road closure is extended to 9pm and there’s free parking between 5pm and 9pm at Parkway, the Kennet Centre and the Northbrook multi-storey.
