Law firm gets bagging for charity

Gardner Leader team raise funds for local hospices

LAW firm Gardner Leader is set to raise more than £1,600 for a local hospice by donating clothes and various items.

Over the past few weeks the firm’s corporate social responsibility team in Newbury, led by Colette Wall and Megan Ruddle, has been busy collecting bags from all departments for its chosen charity to sell in its shops across Berkshire.

The team has filled 66 bags and each bag collected could raise as much as £25 to £35.

The funds will go to Naomi House and Jacksplace, hospices for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

The charity provides care to people living in communities across the seven counties of central southern England.

Gardner Leader has offices in Newbury, Thatcham and Maidenhead.
