Network Rail repairs to close Hamstead Level Crossing

A level crossing will be closed for repairs at the start of next month.

Hamstead Level Crossing, in Park Lane, will be closed between 10.20pm on Monday, April 1, and 5am on Tuesday, April 2.

The closure is to allow Network Rail to carry out repairs to a CCTV camera winch.

During the closure, all traffic will be diverted via Park Lane, Milkhouse Road, A4 (Bath Road), Station Road, Newbury Street, Holt Road, unnamed road from Holt Road to Tinkers Corner, unnamed road from Tinkers Corner to Hamstead Marshall, unnamed road from Holtwood Road to Hamstead Marshall, Park Lane, road known as Park Lane, Park Lane and vice versa.

Blue light access will be maintained.
