Newbury Pride working with West Berkshire Museum to launch LGBTQIA+ exhibition

A new community exhibition celebrating LGBTQIA+ people who live in and around Newbury will be launched to support the town’s first ever pride event.

Newbury Pride is being planned for July of this year and the exhibition, which will be in the West Berkshire Museum, will share the stories and experiences of LGBTQIA+ people from the area.

Newbury Pride has asked people to come forward, tell their stories and share their personal experiences through their own words or through loaning objects that tell a unique tale.

Stories can be shared anonymously and you do not have to give your name in order to participate.
