Libraries to act as collection points for 'book givers'

A national one million book give-away is taking place to mark World Book Night

LIBRARIES across West Berkshire are acting as collection points for successful 'book givers' as part of a national one million book give-away to mark World Book Night on Saturday.

Hundreds of books are being collected from the libraries by people who have been successful in their application to be a 'book giver' by the World Book Night organisation.

These individuals will then give the books away in to schools, charities and individuals in the district.
