Lights amid filming by Apple TV at Brimpton Airfield
Last night, Apple TV was filming at Brimpton Airfield, with residents warned in advance of bright lights throughout the evening and early-morning hours.
Crews were present at the airfield between 10pm and 6am on October 7 and October 8.
Woolhampton Parish Council warned residents in advance that bright lights were to be expected throughout, although there would be no loud noises or flying.
The film in question, Dead Lions, has been described as a "'tongue in cheek' adventure movie about one of the security services."
It is the second in a series of six related stories.
While Dead Lions is not expected to be released until February next year, the footage shot at the airfield will likely only make up a few minutes of the movie.
The facility is doubling as a "fictitious Cotswold airfield."
