Little Bedwyn restaurant scoops Michelin star for seventh year running

Roger Jones and his team at The Harrow in Little Bedwyn are celebrating this week after scooping a Michelin star....for the seventh year running.
The restaurant was also crowned the prestigious AA Restaurant of the Year for England for 2010 and 2011.
The owners at The Harrow at Little Bedwyn, Sue and Roger Jones, were first awarded the coveted Michelin star in 2007 and Mr Jones said: “We’re delighted. We have a great team here who put in a lot of hard work.
“We’ve got a fantastic team, both front and back of house, and they all love working here. Although some obviously move on, our manager Ross Dickie has been with us four years and (assistant chef) John Brown has been with us for 14 years.”
He added: “However, it’s not all about awards - it’s about the customer getting a brilliant meal every time. But it’s amazing to have won a seventh, successive time.”
Over the border in Berkshire, the Fat Duck at Bray retains its three stars.
And proprietor Heston Blumenthal is also awarded a star for his latest venture, the Hinds Head, also at Bray.
The Roux family’s Waterside Inn at Bray also retains its three stars.
Meanwhile, The Vineyard at Stockcross – a high profile winner in recent years – has missed out again this year.
