Newbury Show is back – at Newbury Showground, in Chieveley, all weekend
It’s show time!
We are back again on Sunday for the second day of the Newbury Show.
The fun is still well underway and there is plenty going on.
The rain is coming down strong today but that has not dampened spirits here at Newbury Showground.
The scurry driving is going strong, crowds are growing and people are having a great time.
Thousands of people have flocked to Newbury Showground for the return of the Newbury Show.
After a three year hiatus the show returns this weekend – shutting at 6pm tonight (Saturday) and from 9am until 5pm tomorrow.
Our reporters and photographer are out and about at the show all weekend so chat to them if you see them.
You can buy your show guides – which contain a map and schedule for the main arena and countryside area – at the information tent by or on the entrances.
The main arena has been busy all day since the parade of steam engines kicked things off at 9am.
The Pony Club mounted games proved very popular too and people are now gathering in the countryside area waiting for Ray Prior Falconry’s display.
And the Grand Parade of Livestock and hot air balloons will close the show later this afternoon.
