There's no need to book, you just turn up at the specified time and venue each day and join in the festive fun.

The Living Advent Calendar has become a real family favourite in the town, with more and more people getting involved each year.

As well as the established favourites returning, there's also some interesting newcomers this year - including City Arts, the Lockdown Wood and Secret Garden, Educafe, Pots of Hope, Colline's Kitchen and Berkshire Youth and St Joseph's Primary School.

Organiser Bridgette Lawrence said: "We are excited to be returning to our pre-pandemic format whereby people can turn up for the daily "reveal".

"This year we have a mixture of established favourites taking part, together with some interesting newcomers: City Arts, the Lockdown Wood and Secret Garden, Educafe, Pots of Hope, Colline's Kitchen & Berkshire Youth and St Joseph's Primary School.

"There's no need to book, just turn up at the time on the trail and join in the fun, and be part of one of Newbury's best-loved Christmas events."

Those who collect 18 stamps on the Living Advent Stamp Card will be entered into a prize draw.

You can find the full list of venues and dates above, so head over to Gloucester Road tonight and join in the fun.
