Lloyd Webber production is Hungerford Town Show

Last December the Community of Hungerford Theatre Company produced Whistle Down the Wind as a joint venture with Hungerford Rotary Club to raise money for Mary Hare School for deaf children.
Audience members were spellbound by the production.
The December production took place at Arlington Arts in Newbury but this month it is returning to John O’Gaunt School hall in Hungerford for the 2015 Town Show.
Whistle Down the Wind is written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman.
Set in Louisiana in 1959, the rock musical is the story of Swallow who finds a mysterious man in her barn.
Convinced he is Jesus, Swallow and the children of the town try to protect the man from the townspeople who are determined to find the fugitive hiding in their midst.
The show is running nightly from Wednesday, February 18, to Saturday February 21, at 7.15pm, with a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm.
Tickets are available now from the company’s box office, Crown Needlework, at 115 High Street, Hungerford. Alternatively, telephone (01488) 684011
