Lloyds Bank Newbury temporary closure for refurbishment

The Newbury branch of Lloyds bank is to temporarily close for a couple of weeks in May and June for a refurbishment.

Lloyds Banking Group plc spokesperson, Chris Tuttlebee, confirmed the Bridge Street branch, in central Newbury, would close at 1pm on May 23, and re-open at 9.30am on June 10 - with a new look and continued:

"The new look branch will have a modern look and feel for customers, with screen-less counters and an extra machine in the self service zone.

These improvements will provide a welcoming and comfortable environment in which to do business, and customers will continue to get help with their everyday banking and reviewing their financial needs when required."
