Lloyds Newbury town centre branch to temporarily close

Refurbishment to last just over two weeks

The Newbury town centre branch of Lloyds Bank is to close temporarily for refurbishment, for over two weeks, starting tomorrow (Saturday).

A spokesman for Lloyds Banking Group plc, Chris Tuttlebee, confirmed that the Bridge Street branch would close at 1pm tomorrow (Saturday) and re-open at 9.30am on Wednesday June 10.

“The new-look branch will have a modern look and feel for customers, with screen-less counters and an extra machine in the self-service zone,” he said.

The nearest branch will be in Thatcham Broadway.
