Local ambulance crews star in Real Rescues
Staff from South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust will feature in the new series of Real Rescues, which started on Monday.
The BBC One programme, which regularly attracts more than 1.5 million viewers per episode, will be broadcast at 11.30am Monday to Friday for four weeks.
The series is voiced by Nick Knowles and the ambulance service’s operations director, Mark Ainsworth, said: “Real Rescues provides an excellent channel for the ambulance service to showcase the tremendous work of our front line crews and control room staff in caring for our patients.
“It also enables the trust to communicate key messages around appropriate use of the service to the communities we serve across four counties.
“I would like to express the trust’s gratitude to all staff and patients involved in filming series nine.”
