Local dog owners return with Crufts winners
Winners at the four-day show at the NEC in Birmingham, which finished on Sunday (March 11), included Lottie, a three-and-a-half-year-old Shar Pei bitch owned by Sandra Qardan, (pictured right) who lives just outside West Ilsley.
Lottie lived up to her kennel name: Deakie First Class Ticket.
Also tail waggingly triumphant was Kingsclere villager Caroline Hughes, who returned with a clutch of rosettes won by each of her four Tibetan Mastiffs (pictured below), including Sobarna Casparian at Jamalaca (pet name, Caspar), who came second in the Veteran dog class and Carramia Mystical Milo at Jamalaca (Milo), third in the Good Citizen Dog class.
Also owned by Mrs Hughes, Darchen Jampo at Jamalaca (Jampo) was awarded first place in the Good Citizen dog class and Darchen Charissa at Jamalaca (Saffie) with second place in the Open Bitch and who also achieved a first in the In Good Citizen Bitch class.
