Long-standing Newbury dentist to close today (Fri)

But Westbrook House Dental Practice patients are still in the dark as to why it is closing

WESTBROOK House Dental Practice in Newbury is due to close down today (Friday).

Some of its patients have, however, complained that the owners, Oasis Dental Care, only gave them one weeks notice of the closure and that they will now have to drive as far afield as Wantage or Andover for dental treatment in the future.

Yesterday (Wednesday) as the Newbury Weekly News went to press, questions put to Oasis Dental Care about the alleged lack of adequate notification of closure went unanswered.

Long-standing Newbury dentist, Brendon Kindlon, opened his own dental practice in Newbury in 1972 before re-establishing Westbrook House Dental Practice in 1980.

He ran this as a senior partner until 2002 when it was taken over by Oasis Dental Care.
