With no results declared yet, the candidates have resorted to play fighting instead

IT is 3.37pm and we are still waiting for our first result of the day, but the candidates have decided to change their focus.

Labour candidate for the Speen ward, Richard Garvie, was spotted earlier by NWN photographer Phil Cannings having more than a few words with the leader of West Berkshire Council, Graham Jones (Con, Lambourn).

However, it was all in good spirits and the two were later seen talking about the political scene in a slightly more friendly manner.
