Lorry and crane smash on M4 near Newbury

The westbound carriageway between Chieveley and Hungerford has now re-opened following an earlier accident
ONE lane of the M4, westbound between junction 13, A34 (Chieveley) and junction 14 (Hungerford) was closed earlier due to a collision.
Thames Valley police spokesman, Adam Fisher confirmed police were called just after 6am today, following a collision between a Tadano Faun crane from West Sussex and Scania Artic lorry from Humberside.
By 9.50am the Highways Agency confirmed that the road was cleared.
