Lost and found tortoise returned to his Bucklebury home

Landlords at The Cottage Inn, Gary and Mandy Bush, took the tortoise in and gave it a temporary home in their paddock, which is home to a number of goats, rabbits and chickens, until he was returned to his rightful home on Saturday.
Mrs Bush said the tortoise belonged to twin daughters of one of their customers, who became aware of its location through word of mouth.
“The little girls [are] delighted that they have got him back,” said Mrs Bush.“They had two and both of them escaped - the other one is still missing.
“Obviously they are delighted to have got this one back.”
The tortoise, nicknamed Lucky by Mrs Bush, lived at The Cottage Inn in its own enclosure for around two weeks before his owner was found and was at one point stolen but quickly returned following an appeal on social networking site, Facebook.
It is not known how the tortoises escaped.
