Lots to do in West Berkshire today (Sat)

Around 30 stalls will be available at Pangbourne’s Quality Market, taking place at Pangbourn eVillage Hall from 10am to 4pm.
Food, clothing, hand-crafted jewellery, ceramics, fine art and luxury gifts will all be available.
It is free entry, but donations to Cancer Research UK can be made at the door. Refreshments will also be available.
Helen and Douglas House are holding an open day at their Bartholomew Street bridal shop from 11am to 3pm.
All stock is sold in aid of the hospice, for children and adults.
There will be a 20 per cent discount on any wedding dresses bought on the day.
In Hungerford, a clothes swap is taking place at The Croft Hall in aid of the British Heart Foundation from 11am to 3pm.
Entry costs £3 and includes a token for an item of clothing. Further tokens are available at £1 each.
From 12noon to 8pm, Bucklebury will be holding it

varieties of local beer and cider and a fun mix of games and activities for children will be available.
There will also be live music in the large marquee.
The event is being held on the Village Recreation Ground, with free parking.
Funds raised will support the on-going maintenance of the Victory Room.
Meanwhile, anyone interested in learning to spin or weave can attend a workshop and training meeting at Greenham Church Hall from 10am to 5pm. More information is available at


And from 5pm, there will be roller discos available at Kennet Leisure Centre, Thatcham.
A family session for all ages will run from 5pm until 6.15pm, while those aged over 10 can roll up between 6.30pm and 8pm. Admission £3 per skater, which includes skate hire.

Over the Berkshire/Hampshire border, a coffee morning will be held in Kingsclere this morning (October 4), is in aid of St Michael’s Hospice.
The coffee morning if from 10am to 12pm at Kingsclere Village Club, George Street.
