Low bookings for Covid boosters sees vaccination centre’s in Kennet Centre and Boots, Newbury urge people to get jabs

Vaccination centres in Newbury are urging people eligible for a booster jab to get vaccinated, after a weekend of low bookings.

The Kennet Vaccination Centre said that bookings at the weekend (January 15-16) were "the lowest ever”, which it said was “pretty weird given millions of people still need to have their boosters”.

The Kennet vaccination centre will be open again on the weekend, January 22 and 23, for boosters.

Anyone can walk in between 9am - 5pm from Monday to Saturday and between 11am – 4pm on Sundays.
