Missing person Newbury: Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue confirmed it has joined the search





Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue (BLSAR) has said it has joined the search for a missing person in Newbury.

It said yesterday (Sunday) that it had “been called out to assist TVP West Berkshire with a search for a missing person in the Newbury area”.

There was increased their police activity around The Starting Gate over the weekend following an appeal by Thames Valley Police for help finding a missing man.

Dean, 34, was last seen on Saturday, November 11 at the Starting Gate pub at about 9pm.

Police describe him as 5’8’’ tall with an average build and dark blonde hair.

He has a tattoo of a rose on his chest and a sleeve tattoo on his left arm.

When he was last seen he was wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans, white Nike trainers and a red beanie hat.

TVP has thanked everyone who shared its appeal.

It said: “If you see Dean, please call 999.”
