Lucky escape for motorist after car flips on A34 at East Ilsley

Red Watch manager at Newbury Fire Station, Mike Wilson, said one pump was called at 1.30am to the southbound carriageway, where a car had flipped onto its roof.
“The people were out of the car when we got there,” he said.
One lane was closed during recovery of the vehicle.
Firefighters left the scene after about half an hour.
