Lucky escape for motorists after crash

A man and a woman escaped with only minor injuries after their car crashed and ended up on its roof on Sunday

A CAR ended up on its roof after a crash on the B4009 in Cold Ash on Sunday morning (January 9).

Luckily the two occupants - a man and a woman - managed to escape with minor injuries.

Emergency services were called to the incident at Long Lane just after 8.30am, although the two people in the car had managed to get themselves out of the car before the fire and ambulance crews arrived.

Both occupants were, however, taken to West Berkshire Community Hospital as a precaution.
