M4 shut between Maidenhead and Slough-Windsor for smart motorway works

The M4 will be shut in both directions this weekend between J6 and J8/9 while engineers carry out smart motorway works.
The closure will start at 10pm tonight (Friday, May 6) and the motorway will reopen by 6am on Monday, May 9.
The M4 will be closed in both directions over the weekend of 6 - 9 May 2022 between Junctions 6 (Slough-Windsor) and 8/9 (Maidenhead). The closure will start at 10pm Friday 6 May and the motorway will reopen by 6am Monday 9 May.
