M4 closed between Reading and Wokingham for Smart Motorway works all weekend

Part of the M4 in Berkshire will be closed this weekend.

The eastbound carriageway between junction 11 at Reading and junction 10 at Wokingham will be closed from 10pm tonight (Saturday) until 5.30am on Monday (October 10).

The closure is in place to allow Smart Motorway works to be carried out.

There will be a diversion in place via the B3270, the A3290 and the A329M.

Delays around the area are expected so drivers are being warned to allow extra time for journeys.

The westbound carriageway of the same stretch of motorway will be closed next weekend.
