National Highways reports M4 now open following this morning's oil spill




The M4 westbound between junctions 12 and 13 has now re-opened following an oil spillage that occurred earlier today.

National Highways tweeted that one lane on the westbound stretch of motorway between Newbury and Theale is now open.

The westbound junction 13 slip road is closed along with two of the M4 lanes for emergency resurfacing.

These closures are likely to remain in place for the rest of the day so drivers should expect delays and allow extra journey time.
