Mad hatters tea party at Newbury library to mark World Book Day

Schools, libraries and other organisations in the Newbury area and beyond are likely to mark World Book Day, with fun-packed events, such as dressing up as favourite characters from books.
Newbury library is hosting a children's mad hatters tea party, with chance to dress as favourite book character and crafts, followed by a tea party - with goodies to eat and drink.
Join artist Suzanne Stallard from Jelly Arts before the party at the library, to make cup cakes from plaster of paris.

The mad hatters tea party - for children over eight - is from 3.30pm to 5pm and is free of charge, tickets from Newbury Library in the wharf
