UPDATE: Bath Road (A4) to close for resurfacing works in Thatcham

UPDATE: A main route through Thatcham will be closed next month.

Bath Road will now be closed on November 17 — not November 3 — between the junctions of Brownsfield Road and Park Lane.

The closure is to allow Volker Highways to undertake resurfacing works following the Pedestrian Crossing upgrade works.

In addition, Brownsfield Road, Green Lane and High Street will also be closed to allow for further resurfacing works.

Brownsfield Road will be closed at the junction with Bath Road.

Green Lane will be closed from Bath Road to Hollington Place.

And the High Street will be closed from Bath Road, 70 metres east.

The closure is expected to last from 7am till 8pm.

Residential and blue light access will be maintained throughout the works, and the diversion will be signed onsite.
