Male in ‘critical condition’ following M4 incident
UPDATE - Thames Valley Police has confirmed the male has now been identified and his next of kin informed. They are no longer looking for information.
POLICE are appealing for information following a potentially deadly incident on the M4 today, Friday.
A male suffered life-threatening injuries near Burnt Hill between junctions 12 and 13 on the eastbound carriageway at around 12.30am.
The victim has been taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
The victim has not been identified so his next of kin are not aware.
He is described as white, aged between 15 and early twenties, tall, of stocky build, with brown hair and wearing a blue jacket, light-coloured trousers and black shoes.
He has size 11 feet.
Sgt Adam Brown said: “We are urgently trying to identify the victim of this fear for welfare incident and inform his next of kin as he is in a critical condition in hospital.
“We have no missing person reports matching this male’s description, neither do our neighbouring forces, and we have taken numerous measures to help us identify the victim but have been unable to so far.
“So we are hoping the public can help us; if you know anyone who’s missing that matches this description then please get in touch.
