Man accused of murdering police officer in West Berkshire appears in crown court

20-year-old Jed Foster was up at Reading Crown Court this morning

THE man accused of murdering Pc Andrew Harper has appeared in Reading Crown Court this morning.

Twenty-year-old Jed Foster, from Pingewood, near Burghfield, spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.

He did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody until the trial in January 2020.

Pc Harper was killed while attending reports of a burglary in West Berkshire last Thursday.
