The 29-year-old, of Church Brook, Tadley, is accused of entering into an arrangement which he knew, or suspected, facilitated the acquisition, retention, use or control of criminal property – namely, £1,384,920.86 – by or on behalf of others, namely Sumer Saleh, Homman Sabzpoush and others unknown.

The offence is said to have happened between March 9 and July 21 last year.

Mr Hutchins, who was legally represented by Thomas Beardsworth, was told the case was being sent to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury sitting at Reading Crown Court on a date to be fixed.

District judge Samuel Goozee meanwhile refused unconditional bail and ordered Mr Hutchins to observe a nightly curfew monitored by electronic tag.
