Newbury man Simon Skinner accused of supplying cocaine and cannabis
A MAN has been sent to the crown court charged with supplying cocaine.
Simon Skinner appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, November 1.
The 31-year-old, of Gaywood Drive, Newbury, is accused of being concerned in the supply of the Class A-controlled drug in Newbury on November 21, 2019.
He is further charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis, a Class B-controlled drug, in Newbury on the same date.
Mr Skinner, who was legally represented at the hearing by Paul Gilmartin, was told both matters were being sent to Reading Crown Court to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury.
Mr Skinner was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
