The 28-year-old, of Newtown Road, Newbury, admitted assaulting Emma Hann by beating her.

He further admitted having a knife in a public place, namely Northbrook Street in Newbury.

Next, Chandler pleaded guilty to criminally damaging a car and a glass coffee table belonging to Kerrie Goodman.

Finally, he admitted assaulting Natasha Dry by beating her.

All the offences were committed in Newbury on Friday, August 9.

Magistrates adjourned the case for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.

They ordered these to be prepared on an ‘all options’ basis, including custody, and warned Chandler they may decide to send the matter to be sentenced by a judge sitting at Reading Crown Court.

Chandler, who was legally represented by Heulwen Everton, was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
