Man airlifted to hospital following Bradfield collision





According to Nicole Targett, a spokeswoman for the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, pumps from Tilehurst and also Whitley Wood in Reading were called at 4.30pm to Southend Lane, following a collision involving two vehicles.
Firefighters cut one person from a vehicle and a man was airlifted to hospital.
Police were also at the scene.

Thames Valley Police have confirmed they were called to this incident at 4.26pm yesterday (Tues) involving a Renault Megane and blue Saab.
A 31-year-old man in the blue Saab was air-lifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, in a serious condition.
The road was initially blocked due to the collision, then closed by police from 7pm to 8.05pm during the recovery of the vehicles.
