Man arrested after police respond to report of individual carrying weapon in Fairfields Close area of Hungerford on Tuesday, February 11

Police have made an arrest after officers responded to a report of an individual with a weapon in Hungerford.

Last night (Tuesday) officers responded to the report in the Fairfields Close area of Hungerford.

One male was arrested and is currently in custody whilst they continue to investigate the incident.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “There is no wider threat to the public and we are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
