Man arrested after two Inch’s Yard businesses in Newbury were broken into and burgled




A man has been arrested after two businesses in central Newbury were broken into and burgled.

The offences occurred in Inch’s Yards at around 4.40am on Monday, November 27.

Two businesses were broken into, yarn shop Brown Paper Loves and Julian’s Hair Salon.

Both businesses had windows smashed.

A till containing a quantity of cash was taken from Brown Paper Loves and Christmas decorations were taken from Julian’s Hair Salon.

A 29-year-old man has been charged with one count each of burglary and criminal damage and has been released on bail.
