Hungerford man arrested in connection with ‘serious injury’ crash which hospitalised woman in her 20s in Hermitage
Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious injury road traffic collision in Hermitage.
A 29-year-old man from Hungerford has been arrested for causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to provide specimen for analysis in connection with an incident in Hermitage, in which a grey Mercedes A Class crashed into a tree in Marlston Road at around 12.05am yesterday (Sunday).
Both occupants of the vehicle required medical attention, with a woman in her 20s taken to hospital with serious injuries, where she remains at this time.
The man has been released on police bail.
Investigating officer PC Ian Baldwin, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this collision.
