Man arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, possession of air rifle and driving offence





The incident of criminal damage took place in Harts Hill Road, Bucklebury on Tuesday, February 5 when a vehicle had a window broken.
The possession of an air rifle and dangerous driving arrest relates to an incident at the Star Service Station, London Road, Thatcham on Tuesday, February 26.
Det Sgt Paula Morgan said: “Damage and mindless anti-social behaviour occurring in the villages on the Downland area will not be tolerated by the residents or the police.
“The neighbourhood policing team will continue to deal robustly with any suspects using all legal avenues of redress.
“We continue to ask that people report any crimes and suspicious incidents immediately so that we can respond promptly to secure evidence, obtain intelligence and apprehend offenders.’’
The man, aged 19, has been bailed until March 27.
