Man arrested over Tilehurst sex assaults

A 50-year-old man remains in custody following an arrest in connection with two recent sex attacks

THAMES Valley Police officers arrested a man yesterday afternoon (Thursday) in connection with two sexual assaults in Tilehurst.

The man, aged 50, remains in police custody.

The first alleged assault happened on June 26 in the Partridge Drive area of Tilehurst at 11pm, where a 30-year-old woman was sexually assaulted.

The second relates to an incident involving a 20-year-old woman in Park Lane, Tilehurst, at around 11.35pm on Monday, July 4.
