Man assaulted and robbed by group of men with baseball bat in Tilehurst





A man has been assaulted and robbed by a group of men in Tilehurst.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) is appealing for witnesses.

The incident occurred in the Prospect Park car park on the junction of Cockney Hill with Honey End Lane at around 3.15pm on Wednesday, November 1.

The victim, who is in his thirties, was assaulted by the group of men with a baseball bat.

The victim attended hospital but did not require treatment.

A black android phone was stolen.

The offenders are described as two white men and two Asian men.

TVP said they were seen to exit a light coloured vehicle.

Investigating officer based at Reading police station PC Kirstie House said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened, to please get in touch.
