Police appeal for witnesses after assault in Thatcham
Two men got into an altercation last week, causing injuries to the victim’s face.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for information about the assault, which occurred at around 5.30pm on Thursday (July 4) in Foxglove Way, Thatcham.
A 21-year-old man, from Newbury, has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 (wounding with intent).
He has since been released on bail.
Prior to the incident, the two men were seen in two separate vehicles.
The victim was in an orange Toyota Supra and the offender was in a light blue Volkswagen Golf.
The victim required further hospital treatment, but has since been discharged.
Investigating officer detective constable Beth Trafford said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone with information about what happened, to please come forward.
“We are also asking anyone who may have dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage to please come forward, and upload it via the portal.”
