During a hearing at Reading Magistrates’ Court last month, October, the 39-year-old, of Church Close, Newbury, admitted sending a death threat, intending the recipient would fear the threat would be carried out.

He further admitted using violence to gain entry into premises in Westfield Way, Newbury.

Finally, Beaupre pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a door belonging to Sara McGuiness.

All three offences were committed in Newbury on Thursday, April 4.

Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports.

They stipulated these should be prepared on an ‘all options’ basis, including a potential custodial sentence.

But at a sentencing hearing at the same court on Wednesday, November 13, Beaupre, who was legally represented by Catherine Brymer, was sentenced to a 12 month community order.

In addition, district judge Samuel Goozee imposed a year-long exclusion order, forbidding Beaupre to go to a specific property in Westfield Way.

Next, he ordered him to complete up to five days of rehabilitation activity and to pay £85 towards the prosecution costs.

Finally, Judge Goozee ordered Beaupre to pay £250 in compensation to his victim in lieu of an otherwise statutory victim services surcharge.
