Two people arrested after man bitten outside Northbrook Street Boots in assault at midday on November 13
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of assault after a man was bitten outside Boots in Northbrook Street.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred at around noon on Wednesday, November 13.
There was a disturbance between a man in his fifties, and another man and a woman.
The man in his fifties was bitten as a result of this. He did not require hospital treatment.
A 29-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of assault. They have been released on police bail.
Investigating officer PC Christopher Tayler said: “We are investigating this assault and appealing for the public’s help.
“Two people have been arrested and bailed.
“We are asking any witnesses to this assault in Northbrook Street at around midday to please come forward.
