Phillip Allum from Thatcham bombarded woman with sexual messaging

A MAN bombarded a woman with sexually explicit messages in an online marketplace.

Phillip Allum appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 4.

The 39-year-old, of Rosedale Gardens, Thatcham, admitted harassing the woman in Thatcham between Saturday, January 13 and Sunday, February 4, by sending repeated, unwanted messages of a sexually explicit nature via Facebook Marketplace.

Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports.

They stipulated these should be prepared on an ‘all options’ basis, including custody.

Allum was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
