Reading Magistrates' Court: Thatcham man had indecent images of children

A MAN has been caught with indecent videos of children.

Daniel Aldridge appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, July 28.

The 33-year-old, of Botany Close, Thatcham, admitted making an indecent video of a child in Category A – the most extreme form of such material – in Newbury on or before May 6 last year.

He further pleaded guilty to making an indecent video of a child in Category C at Newbury, also on or before May 6 last year.

Magistrates ruled the matters were so serious that their own powers of punishment could be insufficient.

They therefore sent the case to Reading Crowm Court to be sentenced by a judge on a date to be fixed.

Mr Aldridge was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.

He was also ordered to sign on the Sex Offenders Register.
