Reading Magistrates' Court: Lambourn man caught with indecent photos of children
A LAMBOURN man has been sent to Reading Crown Court for sentencing after being caught with indecent images of children.
In the dock at Readin g Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 7, was Richard Zimmerman.
The 37-year-old, who lives in Bockhampton Road, admitted making 29 indecent photographs of a child in Category A - the most extreme rating.
He further admitted making 15 indecent photographs of children in Category B.
Finally, Mr Zimmerman admitted making eight indecent photographs of a child in Category C.
All the above offences were committed on or before October 6 last year.
No venue was given for the offences, which were simply said to have happened "within the jurisdiction of the Central Criminal Court."
Mr Zimmerman, who was legally represented by Mike Davis, spoke only to confirm his details and to admit the charges.
He was told that the matters were so serious that the magistrates considered their own powers of punishment could be insufficient.
They therefore declined further jurisdiction and sent them to Reading Crown Court, where Mr Zimmerman will be sentenced by a judge on a date to be fixed.
He was meanwhile released on conditional bail.
