Reading Magistrates' Court: Thatcham man had throwing knives

A THATCHAM man has been caught carrying two throwing knives in public.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, February 1, was Darien Lee.

The 24-year-old, of Park Avenue, admitted possessing the offensive weapons in Thatcham on November 15 last year.

He was made subject to a 12-month community order and ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £95.

The court ordered the weapons to be forfeited and destroyed.
