Reading Magistrates' Court: Mortimer man caught with drugs in Newbury




A MAN has been caught with cannabis and cocaine.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, January 10, was Matthew Holmes.

The 30-year-old, of St Catherine's Hill in Mortimer, admitted possessing a quantity of the Class A-controlled drug cocaine in Newbury on December 14 last year.

He further admitted possessing the Class B-controlled drug cannabis on the same occasion.

Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports.

Mr Holmes, who was legally represented by Adonis Daniel, was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
